Farinelli in Norderstedt

I was very pleasantly surprised. As a rule, I am rather skeptical about Italian restaurants. Everyone at the table had different starters and main courses. Everyone was absolutely thrilled. I will come again, an absolute recommendation. Addendum from December 20, 2020 I thought for a long time whether I should order classic German goose with red cabbage from an Italian. Picked up the Advent menu today. What can I say. It was delicious. The starter and dessert were clearly Italian. The main course was goose with red cabbage. All in all very consistent and tasty. An absolute recommendation. Just a small downer. The sauce is unsuitable for children because there is a lot of red wine.

Tastiest bruschetta I've ever eaten, would like to have for 5 euros more than three but it's worth it. Spaghetti Cabonara are delicious too, there was a little too much minced meat in the lasagna. Order arrived very quickly

For me the best Italian in the north of Hamburg or in Norderstedt. Super friendly, comfortably furnished - despite Corona. Food really excellent. Fairly priced! Beef carpaccio with truffle was stunning. With great pleasure again, thanks for the hospitality.

Very good, attentive service. You sit very comfortably. Mixed antipasti platter very tasty. Main courses, however, could be improved. Noodles more firm to the bite, please. Red wine, grappa, espresso very good.

We were at the Farinelli yesterday, we had to wait a short time for our reserved table (until people paid and the table was cleaned. At the table we were greeted in a friendly manner, the restaurant is very noisy and therefore quite loud. The drinks came pretty quickly. Bread with oil was also quickly served. We had a starter platter, it took a long time to get it, the taste of the platter was good. The wait for the main course was unbearably long about 1 hour and 30 minutes. When the main courses were served to us (SPAGHETTI MARE E MONTE and TAGLIATA DI COSTATA DI MANZO CON FINFERLI) we were only told when we were serving the food that chanterelles were out (both dishes are with chanterelles) in the spagetti the chanterelles were simply replaced by mushrooms and for me they were replaced by mushrooms 2 porcini mushrooms and the rest also replaced mushrooms. It is a shame that we were not informed about this earlier and could possibly choose a new dish. (But I also have to say that after my complaint they understood. Due to the inconvenience and my complaint, we were offered dessert or drinks on the house which I refused) Nevertheless, the dishes tasted good, but unfortunately the mood was already down at the time. Conclusion: very long waiting times, disorganized and good food. A lot of potential was wasted. A pity..

Thank you Papa Franco for the great wine the Grappa, for your commitment, Grazie Maurizio, that we finally have a nice photo of you. It wasn't just a pizzeria opening, there's a lot more news! Where do we start 1) there is a four-sided pizza menu, endless choice. As a highlight for social gatherings, the 1 meter pizza! 2) As a pensioner, Papa Franco thought he could put his feet up in Apulia. We'll see him more often now in the Farinelli on Hofweg. To the delight of the guests and the many friends of the house. 3) a nice terrace in the back yard is planned, but it still has to be approved by the authorities. Dear authorities, please please. There is still so much to tell, it was a wonderful opening and the guests weren't missing anything. Now we can only say, toi toi toi Denise and Fabio, your great hosts! Open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday to Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., closed on Wednesdays.

Surprisingly good cuisine, affordable and very nice service. All around pleasant and recommendable.

The food was delicious in Italian but the portions were so tight that I had to order a second menu to be full. So you can make a profit in times of corona
